About Us :
Goal : The goal of the PNA-WI shall be to provide an organization that uphold the image and foster the welfare of Filipino-American nurses in Wisconsin.
Objectives:

To unite Filipino-American Nurses in the state of Wisconsin to promote the highest standards of Professional practice, advancement and socio-economic stability.

To mentor and provide participation and facilitate active participation of migrant Filipino nurses in adjustment to their new role in American Society.

Actively participate in community outreach by promoting health care and education.

Promote personal growth to it's members by providing continuing education and assist in identifying and fulfilling their career goals, professional responsibility and cultural adjustments.

Collaboration and Networking with other health care organizations regarding problems, issues regarding nursing practice, education and research.

We had a successful BP drive during the FAAWIS picnic, nurses was well represented during this Philippine Independence Day affair and was one of the best and organized picnic we have attended, We also was able to sell our Siopao for our fund raiser but we had several new members; Active Members Noralyn David,Frederick Porlucas,Associate members Mary Rose Subina and there were several inquiries and we are waiting to welcome them to our organization.
We are comitted to keep everyone in aloop of whats going on in PNAA; Ate Zen is currently at Miami to represent PNA-WI for the Annual Conference this is also an election year for PNAA Leo Jurao will be the ex-oficio and Rey Rivera of PNA-NY will the President for 2010-2012, NCR Liason is also for grabs Sofy Bole of PNA-MI will be stepping down after several years as the Regional Liason Officer (RLO) for NCR . Bessie Shiroky PNA-Ohio & Beth Rosas from PNA-GKC are vying for the position. We will update everyone with the New mantra of the Presidnet during the General Assembly.
In preparation for the 2012 North Central Reional Conference (NCR) which we are the host, There will be several fund raising activities to augment the expenses that we might incur during that 3 day event :
1.August 27,2010 Our First Brewer Tailgate Party we would like to do this annually so we need everyone to invite everyone we will be providing hotdogs,chips and soda,feel free to bring any food you'd like to share. Tickets @ $21.00 for non members and $20 for members and family. Discounted parking tickets are also available, so please join us and have fun.
2. December we will have our Citrus Sale and almost all the NCR members states that this is most profitable fund raising yet, so will need all the help we could get. That is it fir this year 2011 will have a lot more in store for everyone.
